AI – Analog Input
Obtains the voltage value in mV of an analog input. This is a read-only command.

Where: [ch] – specifies the input channel – Applies to: CMD-4CR, CMD-4EX-SA, PMX-2ED-SA, PMX-2EX - 2 analog 10-bit inputs [1-2] - Analog input terminal for X-axis = 1, Y-axis = 2 – Applies to: PMX-4EX-SA - 8 analog 10-bit inputs [1-8] - Analog input terminal for X-axis = 1, Y-axis = 2, Z-axis = 3, U-axis = 4 |

Command is accepted and executed
Read:
Returns the current voltage (voltage in mV) [range 0- 3300]
Command cannot be processed
An error message is returned. See Error Codes
Example:
Read: AI1 * returns the value in mV of the voltage on the analog input for the X-axis
Reply: 2500 * signifies 2.5V (2500mV) on Analog input 1
