EXSTP – External Stop
This command enables/disables the external stop functionality. This is applicable to all move commands.
Applies to: All Commander Controllers

Where: [value] is set to: 0: External stop disabled, 1: External Decelerate-stop enabled (same as STOP command), or 2: External stop immediately enabled (same as ABORT) |
Reply
Command is accepted and executed
Read
Returns enable/disable status, 0 = disabled, 1= enabled
Write
OK
Command cannot be processed
An error message is returned. See Error Codes
Example
Read EXSTP * Returns the external stop status
Write EXSTP=0 * Disables the external stop function
