SDE – Slow Down Enable/Disable
This is the command to “enable/disable” the slowdown input signal and sets the latching function to obtain the current set value.

ASCII SDE[axis] individual axis acceleration setting
Syntax:
Read:
SDE[axis]
Where: [axis] is set to X, Y, Z, U |
Write:
SDE[axis]=[sde]

Reply:
Command is accepted and executed
Read:
Returns the 2-bit value of the [axis] enable/latching status
Write:
OK
Command cannot be processed
An error message is returned. See Error Codes

Read:
SDEY * Returns the enable/latching status for the Y axis
Write:
SDEX=1 * Enables the slowdown input for the X axis.
Notes:
- The 2-bit SDE[axis] command enables the SD inputs and sets the latching function. By default, SDEX=0 disables the X-axis SD inputs. The inputs can be enabled without a latch function using SDEX=1, or enabled with a latch function SDEX=3.
