SYNS – Synchronization Status
A read-only command that returns the current status of the synchronization output operation.

SYNS[axis]
Where: [axis] is the axis (X, Y, Z, U) being addressed |

Command is accepted and executed
Read: Returns 2-bit synchronization status. Valid reply are 0, 1, or 3.

Command cannot be processed
An error message is returned. See Error Codes
Example:
Read: SYNSX * returns the status of the synchronization output operation for the X axis
Reply: 3 * signifies the sync operation and the sync window are enabled for the X axis
Read: SYNSZ * returns the status of the synchronization output operation for the Z axis
Reply: 1 * signifies the sync operation is enabled for the Z axis
Notes:
- Synchronization status will return 1 as long as synchronization mode is active for that axis.
- The synchronization status for each axis is independent.
