IACC – Automatic acceleration for buffered interpolation.
Enables/disables the Interpolation (I) move acceleration (used with buffered I commands). On the PMX-4EX-SA and PMX-4ET-SA controllers, the buffered interpolation feature includes an automatic acceleration option. The IACC command is used to control this feature.
Applies to: PMX-4EX-SA, PMX-4ET-SA
ASCII IACC
Syntax:
Read:
IACC
Write:
IACC=[0,1]
Where: 0 is to disable, and 1 is to enable |
Reply:
Command is accepted and executed
Read:
Returns 0 when disabled, 1 when enabled
Write:
OK
Command cannot be processed
An error message is returned. See Error Codes
Example:
Read:
IACC * Returns if the automatic I move acceleration is enabled or disabled
Write:
IACC=1 * Enables the automatic I move acceleration
Notes:
When IACC=0, acceleration and deceleration must be completed manually. To control the acceleration or deceleration manually, gradually increase or decrease the speed value for each interpolated move.
When IACC=1, acceleration and deceleration are processed automatically. In this case, the speed acceleration profile will be automatically generated between sequential buffered moves. The acceleration/deceleration value used for automatic acceleration control is found in the global acceleration value (accel).
