Write-only command that changes the speed of a current operation on the fly.

ASCII/Standalone                SSPD                               

Syntax:

Write:

SSPD[axis]=[newspeed]

Where:        [axis]                 specifies the axis to change speed (X, Y, Z, U)
               [newspeed]  specifies the new speed in pps (1 – 6,550,000)

Reply:

Command is accepted and executed

Write:           

OK


Command cannot be processed

       An error message is returned. See Error Codes

Example: 

       Write: 

SSPDX=100000        * Changes the speed of the X-axis to 100,000 pps

Notes:

  • SSPDM must be set correctly for new speed value, otherwise an ?Error SSPD with be indicated.
  • Buffer(BO) and S-Curve(SCV) must be disabled.
