SN – Commander Serial Number
A read only command that returns the serial number of the Commander.
Applies to: CMD-4CR, CMD-4EX-SA

Syntax:

SN
Reply:
Command is accepted and executed
Read:
Returns the unique Commander serial number.
Command cannot be processed
An error message is returned. See Error Codes
Example:
Read:
SN * Returns the on-time duty cycle value the signal is high
Notes:
- The SN is formatted in one of two ways
- NPA-XX-MYY-mmNNN MYY is the Date Code where M is Later for Month (A=January, B=February, etc) and YY is last two digits for year Example 2025 = 25
- Returns the 32 character unique hardware serial number. (Some Gen 5 and all Gen 4 Commanders use this format)
