Model Numbers
The CMD-4EX-SA is an advanced four-axis stepper/servo standalone programmable motion controller. It consist of two main parts:
•The base board, which contains the power, communication, and input/output interface (both high speed and general I/O). The base board has a motion connector for connection to a top breakout PCB.
oThe base board includes the Commander core (CMD-4CR) motion controller.
•The top board is used as an interface PCB between the motion controller and your motors. Nippon Pulse has a number of standard top boards, or a custom top board can be supplied that meets your unique needs.
•When selecting a TBD top board, the current rating for the drivers must be stated.
