The Commander series of controllers include several types of inputs/and outputs which are not directly related to the motion of the motor.  There are also two analog inputs and two PWM outputs.

  • Dedicated Input/Outputs
    High speed inputs or outputs that have a dedicated function, which cannot be changed.
  • High-speed Inputs/Outputs
    High speed inputs or outputs with processing times of <200ns that have certain functions associated to them, but can also be used as general purpose inputs or outputs.
  • General-purpose input/output
    Defined by the user, these have no built-in associated functions.
