U axis Output (Logic ground)

The U-Axis output can be used to drive a 4th motor or as an encoder divider for the X axis feedback. 

External driver

There is a logic level Pulse/Direction/Enable output and Encoder input for the U-Axis. These can be connected to an external driver, to drive a 4th axis from the Commander. Leave these outputs disconnected if using the encoder divider for the X-axis feedback.

Encoder divider of X-axis feedback

J400 can be used as a multiplier/devider or the X-axis encoder. The output ratio is determined by the settings of the MPD/MPM commands, and enabled by the MP/MPE commands.
