Connectivity

The Commander CMD-2CR and CMD-4CR cores uses 3 x 50-pin connectors with 1.27mm pitch to allow access to all signals. The CMD-8CR uses 4 x 50-pin connectors with 1.27mm pitch to allow access to all signals.


In this manual – when viewing from the bottom, with the pins closest to the edge, left, right and bottom – we will refer to the left set of pins as CON1, the right set as CON2, and the bottom set as CON3. For the CMD-8CR the the set of pins at the top are CON4. For the purpose of simplicity, in this manual, all pin numbers are referred to by CON number then pin number in the set. For example, pin 3 on CON1 will be referred to as pin 1-3, whereas pin 25 on CON3 will be referred to as pin 3-25.
