When migrating from the PMX-4EX-SA-TBS, it is recommended to consider the CMD-4EX-SA-TBS.

CMD-4EX-SA-TBS

The CMD-4EX-SA is available with multiple top board configurations:

TBB / TBS: Controller-only configurations (no integrated motor drivers)

TBD: Controller with integrated stepper motor drivers

The CMD-4EX-SA is designed to be partially backward compatible with the PMX-4EX-SA. The CMD-4EX-SA keeps existing simplicity, connectors, pin outs, and software compatibility of the PMX-4EX-SA, with additional robustness and advanced features that users have requested. Due to physical size limitations the number of quick access inputs/outputs has been reduced to 4 high speed inputs and 4 high speed outputs. An additional 26 general purpose configurable inputs/outputs are available.

This page will display an example of a migration path from a PMX-4EX-SA-TBS to the CMD-4EX-SA-TBS.
