Introduction
The CMD-4EX-SA is a next-generation, advanced 4-axis stepper/servo standalone programmable motion controller from Nippon Pulse. It is part of the Standalone Controller series within the Commander Ecosystem, built on the proven Commander motion control core.
Designed for flexibility and ease of integration, the CMD-4EX-SA supports communication over USB or RS-485 and can execute downloaded programs independently, eliminating the need for a host PC during operation.
The CMD-4EX-SA is available with multiple top board configurations:
•TBB / TBS: Controller-only configurations (no integrated motor drivers)
•TBD: Controller with integrated stepper motor drivers
